We run local and interstate hauling out of the same yard. Most loads go out on our own trucks around Lubbock and the South Plains, and if the job sits a good distance down the highway, distance alone does not rule us out. Call the plant and ask; it is a faster and more honest answer than guessing off a map.
If you have got a trailer that suits the material, you can also load it yourself at 1521 Erskine Street. Contractors running their own logistics, or anyone ordering aggregate and materials alongside a mix, often find it easier to just take it with them.
Delivery suits a job site that cannot easily send a truck across town on short notice. Pick-up suits someone already passing the yard, or a smaller load where waiting on a delivery window costs more time than the drive out.
What the driver needs to see when he pulls up
A loaded mixer is tall, heavy and not built for a tight turn. Before the truck leaves the plant it helps to know the access width at the gate, whether there is anything overhead like power lines or low branches, and whether the ground where it will sit is solid enough to take that weight without rutting.
Soft ground is the one that catches people out. A truck that sinks a few inches into wet or loose dirt is a stuck truck, not a delivered load. If the site has been rained on recently, or the ground is naturally soft, say so when you order.
Staging matters too: where the truck parks relative to where the concrete is going, and where the washout goes once the drum gets rinsed out. Have an answer for both before the truck shows up and the delivery goes a lot smoother for everyone standing around it.

Scheduling a pour: lead time and same-day loads
The plant runs its trucks in a sequence each morning, so where your load lands in that run depends on when you call and what is already booked ahead of you. We cannot promise a slot without a phone call, and we will not invent a number here that we cannot back up. Call the plant, tell us the mix, the yardage and the site, and we will tell you straight what today or tomorrow looks like.
